Major Changes on Twitter, Since Elon Musk’s Takeover
Since the takeover of Twitter, Elon Musk has become a busy man and started making many transformations and upgradation on this microblogging platform. While reporting those changes, he also rolled back some of them.
Some of the first changes the Twitter chief decided to do “democratization” of the blue tick. However, it didn’t perform well, and he paused the subscription for a while.
However, he promised to launch the same after upgrading it. Along with this, he also announced a general amnesty for the suspended Twitter user’s account.
These are not only changes he made during the past couple of weeks; look at the below to know more recent changes.
Different Color Check Marks
Allowing everyone to use checkmarks can direct to widespread issues of emulating. Thus, Elon Musk selected to take a different approach. Twitter will deliver a different color for organizations (companies) and individuals. Probably “gold” check for companies, “grey” for the government, and “blue” for individuals. See his recent tweet reply to a user.
The accounts ready to get a verified tick will also get manually authenticated before they are given a respective tick.
Musk Tweeted Trump’s Twitter Ban as a “Grave Mistake”
Last week, Elon responded to one of the users; he said he is fine with Trump not tweeting. The important thing is that Twitter correct a grave mistake in banning his account, despite no violation of law or terms of service.
